Paleo Recipes In Our Home
My husband and I decided that we wanted to start the Paleo diet. We are excited about this because we both want to lose weight. We have heard that we can lose a lot if we start the diet.
The first thing we did was go through all of our food and got rid of anything that wasn't on the diet. We ended up taking all that food to a friend's house so we were not just throwing it all away.
After that we started collecting a lot of different Paleo Recipes to have around. We filled our home with Paleo approved foods and we were ready to go. We couldn't wait to start.
After two months of Paleo we are really seeing results. It is amazing to me that we went so long without trying this. We have each lost at least 10lbs. It has been so good for us.
In the last two months we have made a lot of Paleo Recipes. We already have a few favorites that we both enjoy. We have been taking turns cooking them.
We love the Bacon Stir-Fry Breakfast. It is exactly what we want to eat first thing in the morning. It tastes so good. We also really like the Banana Almond Pancakes. They taste wonderful and are not too difficult to make.
For lunch we like to make Chard and Cashew Saute or the Sauteed Sweet Potatoes. For dinner our favorites have been the Chicken Fajita Salad and the Grilled Flank Steak with Pineapple Salsa. There are just so many Paleo Recipes out there. We really had no idea until we started looking.
By trying new foods we are able to stay focused and are not getting bored with this diet at all. We love to try new things and have fun picking out what to make next.
I look back over the last 30 years and can't figure out why I ate half of the stuff I did. There are so many yummy foods on this diet. I can't ever imagine going back.
The weight loss has been such a good thing for us too. We love standing on the scale each week to see how much we have lost. The fact that we are doing it together makes it even better.
I never thought I would enjoy a diet like this but I do. I hope we can stick to it for the rest of our lives. I think our bodies will thank us.
